Happy birthday to my dearest sister Ernie! She is celebrating double celebration today as today is Malaysia's Independence Day. She is working in Labuan with her family now.
Have a blessed birthday and may your life filled with more blessing, love, happiness and many happy returns. Don't worry dear coz you're still young in my eyes. hehehe...

I miss you guys especially Mike, Maxwell and Marshall. I know all of u are growing and taller than auntie. See you all during Christmas. Take care. May God bless you and your family abundantly! Amen.

Miri Trip: Day 1

Shalom friends! Here's my journey to Miri for 3 days. I departed LCCT KLIA on Air Asia Flight Ak 5254 at 7.25 am and reached Miri at 9.40 am. It was such a 'boring' trip coz my hubby couldn't come along with me as he had other commitment.

This was my 1st day in Miri. My sister and her son Calix came to fetch me at the airport. Actually Calix didn't expect me to come..he thought I was her mom's friend. See his expression when he saw me .

From the airport, we went directly to my aunt's house which located less than 5 minutes from the airport. Then we went to kedai kopi for makan mee.My brother joined us later after 30 mins.

It is a must to try local food. This one is laksa Sarawakcalix was so happy and excited!

Volleyball Dihatiku

This post is dedicated to my passion in volleyball. I am not a skillful player, not a great player but i just love playing volleyball. Among all games, this one is my favourite. I started playing since primary school till my last game was in 2005.

One of the most memorable time was in UiTM. I'm sure my friends ( Chris, Dayang, Pidie, Nyet, Annie etc...just to name a few) missed our great teammate too. We used to say among ourselves "Volleyball dihatiku". How I wish i had a scanner rite now so I can show some pics of us. (Dulu mana da digital camera so perlu scan la).

These old pics were during Inter-Yayasan Tournament in Perlis year 2005. My best buddy Sophia was there with me too. =)

Faith and Works

Abraham believed and it was credited to him as righteousness. The only way we can be Justified (made righteous) is by faith in Jesus Christ. There is no other way to please God other than by Faith.

Some Christians try and earn their way to heaven while others think that works are not important. We cannot earn salvation. The penalty for seen is death. Christ paid this price for us. We just have to accept it by faith.

All we need is faith the size of a mustard seed (Matt 17:20).

There should, however, be some evidence of faith in your life. ( e.g confession, baptism, joy peace repentance and eventually fruit). James says "you show me your faith without works and I will show you my faith by my works". Clearly, we are saved by faith in what Christ has done, not in what we have done. Nevertheless, Christians will be rewarded according to what we have done whilst in the body of Christ.

Friend, faith without works is dead.

THOUGHT:
After stumbling around in the dark watering my yard last night,I was overjoyed to find a flashlight so I wouldn't meet any unexpected "critters" as I reached into the shrubbery to turn my faucet on and off. My joy, however, is far greater at finding Jesus, who illuminates my heart on my darkest nights, illuminates my future with his coming glory, illuminates my path with his words of truth, and illuminates my hope with the dawning of each Sunday, my weekly reminder of his triumph over the grave.

PRAYER:
Father, dear precious and holy God, how can I ever thank you enough for the light of my life? Until my face reflects the light of your glory, Jesus will light my way. Thank you. In the name of Jesus, the Light of the world, I praise and thank you. Amen.

Beautiful Scenery

I would like to share my passion with you all. I love taking picture of scenery where ever i go. Which view i like most??hmmm...... i would say view from flight. It is few thousand metres high above the sea level so it gives me wider view. The clouds are awesome...the colour of the blue sky... Why? because i just loveeeeee it. :) It shows the amazing creations of God.

With God All Things Are Possible

*With God all things are possible -Matthew 19:26 Mark 10:27 *

There once was a man who had nothing for his family to eat. He had an old rifle and three bullets. So, he decided that he would go out hunting and kill some wild game for dinner.

As he went down the road, he saw a rabbit. He shot at the rabbit and missed it. The rabbit ran away.

Then he saw a squirrel and fired a shot at the squirrel but missed it. The squirrel disappeared into a hole in a cottonwood tree.

As he went further, he saw a large wild 'Tom' turkey in the tree, but he had only one bullet remaining. A voice spoke to him and said, 'Pray first, aim high, and stay focused.

However, at the same time, he saw a deer which was a better kill. He brought the gun down and aimed at the deer.

But, then he saw a rattlesnake between his legs about to bite him, so he naturally brought the gun down further to shoot the rattlesnake. Still, the voice said again to him, 'I said, 'Pray, Aim high, and Stay focused.'

So, the man decided to listen to God's voice. He prayed, then aimed the gun high up in the tree, and shot the wild turkey.

The bullet bounced off the turkey and killed the deer. The handle fell off the gun, hit the snake in the head, and killed it. And, when the gun had gone off, it knocked him into a pond.

When he stood up to look around, he had fish in all his pockets, a dead deer, and a turkey for his family to eat.

The snake (Satan) was dead simply because the man listened to Yahweh.

Moral of the story:

Pray first before you do anything, aim and shoot high in your goals, & Stay focused on Yahweh.

Never let others discourage you concerning your past. The past is exactly that, 'the past.' Live every day one day at a time, and remember that only God knows our future, and that He will not put you through any more than you can bear.

Do not look to man for your blessings, but look to the doors that only He has prepared in advance for you in your favor. Wait, be still, and patient: keep Yahweh first, and everything else will follow.

This post reminded myself too...Pray first before you do anything, aim and shoot high in your goals, & Stay focused on Yahweh.

Mukjizat Itu Nyata

Ada banyak orang menganggap Tuhan seolah2 seperti pesulap. Mereka selalu menanti pertunjukan besar, mencari keajaiban2 sensasional yang tidak terjelaskan dgn akal logika manusia. Bagi mereka ini, mereka akan percaya jika mereka dapat melihat satu atau dua keajaiban sensasional itu. Jika tidak, untuk apa percaya?

Apakah Tuhan tidak lagi membuat mukjizat di hari2 ini? Tuhan masih tetap memberkati kita dengan mukjizat. Sadar atau tidak, kita dikelilingi mukjizat dan keajaiban2 setiap hari. Coba lihat, ketika setangkai bunga mekar dengan indahnya, itu adalah mukjizat. Setiap anak bayi dilahirkan, dan raut bahagia terpancar dari wajah orang tuanya, itu keajaiban. Ketika anak mulai melangkahkan kakinya untuk pertama kali, itu mukjizat. Ketika sepasang suami istri saling memaafkan, itu pun sebuah mukjizat. Tidak hanya itu, Tuhan selalu membuat hal2 yang tidak dapat dijelaskan dengan logika, dan ajaib, setiap harinya. Ada banyak orang sakit disembuhkan, ada banyak orang yang dirasuk roh jahat dilepaskan, ada banyak kehidupan dipulihkan, dan itu terjadi setiap hari. Tuhan masih bekerja, dan Dia masih memberikan yang terbaik buat kita.

Pada masa Yesus turun ke dunia, Yesus membuat banyak mukjizat. Pada saat itu ada banyak saksi hidup yang melihat langsung mukjizat2 ilahi yang dilakukan Yesus, namun tetap saja sebagian menerima, dan sebagian tidak. Jadi soal percaya atau tidak, bukanlah ditentukan oleh besar kecilnya mukjizat, tapi semua tergantung diri kita sendiri, apakah kita mau percaya atau tidak. Tetaplah tekun, tetaplah membuka mata, dan selalu pilih untuk percaya. Mukjizat atau keajaiban2 hadir setiap saat dalam kehidupan anak2Nya yang selalu setia padaNya.


Apapun yang terjadi didalam hidup anda adalah sebuah keajaiban. Segala puji dan syukur bagi Tuhan.
